Default Anyone just have Corsa X Pipe with NPP?

Just curious if anyone has the manual transmission C7 that is stock with NPP with just the Corsa 14761 x pipe? I am wondering if adding just the x pipe will give me the pops and gurgling on downshifting I used to get from my old Corsa axel back on my C6. Now that I just got a C7 I am on a tightly controlled allowance. I calculated how long it would take me to get the full cat back Corsa with saving my allowances and it was depressing! I miss that sound! Thanks for the help.

I have a Manzo X-Pipe and NPP with the A6. It does give you more pops and gurgling with the valves open. I think it's a great sweet spot. The Corsa exhaust does sound amazing but you can always get the X-Pipe second hand then get the rest later when you need more.

Also does anyone have the part number for the tunnel plate bolts?

Borla gurgled a lot. Corsa doesn't much if any at all. It also has to do with tuning. Stock tune has less popping

I wish I could find a Manzo x pipe!! They seem to be the closest to a Borla. I've looked everywhere and its a no go. Anyone have any leads on them?

I have a 2017 GS M7 and ran the borla xpipe with stock NPP exhaust for a bit. Added the mild-wild switch so I could keep exhaust valves completely open at all times. Even track mode closes values at some rpm levels. It sounded great and for little money and easy to install yourself on the garage floor with a good Jack.

I then bought a set of LG Motorsports stepped long tune headers and sold the borla xpipe. Now that is a mean sounding exhaust with open NPP valves.

Thanks toxic GS...I think I am going to give just the x pipe a try and see if that will scratch the itch for a louder exhaust note.

I get very nice, pops and burbles, with mine. I do have an auto, but I downshift with the paddles to get the full effect. I leave my exhaust wide open all the time as well. It was worth every penny.

That’s what I am hoping for. Thanks for letting me know.

I had just the x pipe on my m7 at first and you did get some pops and gurgles it helps the sound a ton. I also had fuse removed most of the time for valves. I did end up doing a xtreme cat back also and it made it perfect. It still doesn't pop and gurgle like my c5 did thou I think the double x pipe might stop some of it.

They're all over eBay but I found it just using Google forever ago. I'd say get new gaskets and studs+nuts just to make install easy

The ones you see on EBay are from a company called Top Speed Pro 1. They make their own stuff. I’ve been trying to find some feed back on them.

I agree with Bruno. I just installed the Borla 60547 x-pipe and it sounds awesome with the stock exhaust. Pops and gurgles like the C6 did with the Corsa pipe. The Borla is hard to find and sells quickly. I just got very lucky and got a used one. I had to pay a premium do to the fact that they are so hard to get. I also leave the valves open with a switch on the fuse I wired up so they stay open all the time even on decel.

I had a borla on my old z51 and had the Corsa X on my Z06. The Corsa gives a bit better tone due to the double X. Can't really comment on pops as the old one was an auto and z06 is Manual. Get some pops ever now and again.

I was running the Corsa x pipe on my stock exhaust.

Made a nice difference, did crack and burble a bit more.

Looking forward to hearing it. I think I'll do like most have done and just put an X-pipe on mine for now and hear what happens. I think it's a toss up and it's not like I'm Johnny Race Car. If it made sense I'd go with the Titanium system, but the $6500+ price, kinda doesn't make sense at my level.
