how is it possible to supercharge the NA engine without internal mods?
The compression ratio is something like 11:1 on that motor isn't it?
How can you run street gas on a forced induction 11:1 motor?

I do it every day ....
They are built differently than the days of old , alot has to do with Cam, overlap , fuel , combustion chamber
The same can be said about a normally aspirated LT1 , how can you run regular in an 11 to 1 engine ?. but we can if we chose to
The only drawback is the ring gap which is real close , push it to hard and u will bust a piston
But like I said above , keep it at 600 or below and the motor will live a happy life , Above 600 you will need more fuel and maybe meth injection .
There are plenty of 630 to 700 HP LT 1's running around with these mods
