BIG POWER Trans OPTIONS
I believe my trans is whining (tr6070). The pitch of the whine follows gear ratio unlike the diff that progressively got higher in pitch with speed.before it fully locked up. I don't know much about transmissions and have no idea what would be whining whether that's bearing, synchro mesh, gear sets, or all of the above. I'm trying to weigh some options. I know of RPMs built tr6070 and the wavetrac diff, however they don't mention power levels unless you call them. I'm just kicking tires right now so I'm looking for ballparks with me doing the labor. I'm not really sure what to think or what other options are out there. I've seen some th400 swaps with 9" diffs. there any other options for 700 wheel and up? The plan is to eventually build the engine and turn it up so I would like to future proof it.

My ZR1 has 975 rwhp and runs a built A8 with no issues. Vengeance Racing in Georgia made the changes.
