Looking for some real-world advice on whether a custom ECU or dyno tune is worth it for my current setup.I have a 2016 Stingray A8 with the following mods:
AFE Intake (with dry filter)
Soler Performance 92mm ported throttle body AND controller
Borla cat-less X-pipe
The car runs great on the stock calibration. I’m wondering if I'm leaving noticeable power or drivability on the table. For those with similar setups:
Did a tune noticeably clean up the throttle transitions with a larger TB?
Two good upgrades you could do. Tune out the 4 cyl mode, CrazedPerformanceRepair, and replace the valve springs. I have all 5 of them on my 2014. I can't say if I get more HP but with the throttle controller it is much more responsive. You wont have to worry about the 2 major issues, bad valve springs and 4 cyl mode.
