Is it premature to start a C7 Z06 Z07 thread?
I have my TR Z51 coupe and love it. But, my dealer just put me #1 on his list for the 2015 Z06/Z07.
There is not much out there on this yet. Is it too early to start a thread?

We have had NUMEROUS speculation threads over the past several months. Have you been following them?

I wish it wasn't too soon but we really know nothing. There's a cad picture of a flared fender, high spoke wheel, supercharged c7, and that's really about it. The cad wheels do look very similar to the camo hipo c7 we've seen a little of. I for one think it will be super ****ing awesome. Lol

When I visited the plant yesterday, I asked the guide and a couple of workers on the line, what was the reason for the plant to be closed Friday. When I said that maybe it will be closed to the public for the production of the ZO6, ZO7 or ?, all of them had a big cheesy smile and grin, and had a surprised look on their faces. They couldn't say anything, but they really didn't have to...the answer was in their facial expressions!

Agreed. GM is using the same approach they used with the C6 as they introduce the C7. First the coupe, then the vert in the first year, then the Z06 in the second year. Already some vette junkies who have upgraded to C7's have indicated they will be upgrading further next year to a a Z06/Z07 etc. Those that have a little restraint are going directly to the hi po version. It's all good and the Detroit auto show reveal of our latest ultra cool vette is right around the corner.

I love reading the rumors and try to take into account that many comments are speculation. Once several sources have the same rumor, then I start seeing some hope.

We should be seeing more spy shots soon.

I too believe that it will be at Detroit and will be a 2015. The spy pictures that have been posted links to are real, and there is no doubt they are already testing the car (whatever they are going to call it).

C6 first model year = 2005; introduced at the 2004 NAIAS
C6Z first model year = 2006; introduced at the 2005 NAIAS
I already have read that GM is to reveal "something Corvette related" at the 2014 NAIAS next Jan.
