Well, looks like ole Keeks had it nailed way back when. It'll be called a Z06( not all those other possibilities) and my guess is it'll have the supercharged LT4, we've all seen posted everywhere, that Keeks also said would be coming. I'm sure GM was thrilled with him, but truth be told, it was a good thing for us vette junkies, cause it keeps us in the fold and more ready to release the money cannon on another toy we can't live without( the super thrifties would never spring for the Z06 upcharge anyway, but the big spenders will be glad to. It's gonna be awesome !!!!!).
Can't wait to see it. Hopefully, I'll be able in a position to get one, seeing as how I missed out on the entire C6 production run. I haven't owned a Vette since Feb. 2002 when I sold my old C5 coupe.
Are you sure, looks like the rear. The stone guard starts out thin and would widen behind the rear wheel.
I went back and looked over some of the spy photos. After a second second look, I think it may also be the front because of the shape along the base edge under the vent. On the spy photos the rear brake vent looks fairly flat before the vent, which we don't see on this. The angle of the picture certainly doesn't give much away.
If Keeks stays true to form. This would be the LT4 660hp Supercharged engine.

Look at the rear of the door vs. the front... it's clearly the front and the fender is flared with an add-on carbon extension that will flow into the splitter.
Please let it not be twin turbo (or any other form of forced induction). Naturally aspirated engines are more exciting imo -- better sounding, higher revving, and lighter.
