GM is no stranger to FI, especially blowers. It could save them a lot of money to take the LS9 blower and IC setup and bolt it on to the LT1. Perhaps that's why the LS9 was developed in the first place, no?
Supercharger = more heat = reduced timing on a road course??? How is that going to work?

Exactly! The stock LS9 system really isn't bad at all especially if ambient temps are below 90F and I can only imagine the cooling system and heat management to be even better with the new LT4.
