This could be the most not true statement I have ever seen on this forum.

Where are the rest of the "teaser" pics? We can't possibly be expected to wait 3 more long days before anything else is leaked!

Can't wait! I just hope that there is a dual clutch option.

The vast majority of OEMs are going toward small twin turbos with direct injection, not supercharging.

Off the top of my head, only Jaguar, Audi, and GM are sticking with blowers. MB and Ford have already abandoned supercharging.

I have one of the last examples in my garage, and it will be the high point in American car HP for some time, I predict.

I see your point. I have never seen any evidence of turbo charging in the next gen GT500 though. Have you?

I am curious, with how hot my C6Z can get on ThunderHill, how they will manage cooling with the addition of a supercharger on the C7Z in track conditions.

Guess I could ask a ZR1 owner if I can find one who tracks their car.

All rumors at this point, but my SVT contacts are talking about a naturally aspirated flat plane crank 5.2L V8 with a Ferrariesque torque curve.

I have tracked mine a fair bit, though not in the summertime, and it maintains temps surprisingly well. I think jvp has had similar results.

Cool thanks for that.

I'm kinda doubtful about such a motor in the new gt500.. No way of actually knowing though I suppose.

Good to hear on your track temps. It gets HOT at Thunderhill in the summertime though. Looking at a track day in March before it heats up to much.
