"unique power train"

"unique" would suggest not shared with any other C7 version. Kind of tough to make that claim if Z06 will share the LT4 with the ZR1... Not holding my breath but still not convinced the LT4 is for the Z06. There are a lot of ways that engine does not make sense for a car that is "the most track-capable ever" and that has a "unique" powertrain.
Then again, Mark Reuss was telling press not 3 months ago that there "had been no discussion of a Z06", so clearly, GM execs have no problem stretching the truth.

hopefully it will be unique in that they will go back to a more intelligent and rational concept of having a stand alone ECM, along with a stand alone EBCM, both of which obey the inputs of your FOOT, rather than having 30 modules all interconnecting, often with multiple signals on the same wire, such that all systems of the car work together against the driver, are spread throughout the interior dash where they are impossible to get to, and are difficult to re-engineer to make the car a proper sports car again.
further, there would be no other modules, just simple switches that obey the drivers' command rather than HAL.
