If they can make a land yacht like the Camaro into a track car, they can do it with the Vette.

Doesn't matter ill be stripping any car down I get next and heavily modding it. I just hope the car itself is solid stock and they keep a fixed roof.

Dodge did this with the Viper, by offering the ACR package. Chevrolet and Team Corvette -ABSOLUTELY- must do a full track car for the street. Like others have said, the new Z/28 is freaking awesome. The coolness factor on the new Z/28 is off the scale. Do that exact same thing for the Corvette, EXCEPT ADD FULL ON AERO JUST LIKE THE VIPER ACR. You already have it because of the C7R program. Come on, GM......

Cant do this car for the street. It has a built in cage.. I wouldn't want to hit a pothole and bang my head on a bar!

Plus.. its illegal. But still.. I want!!!!

That would just put the new Viper ACR to shame and shut them up once and for all.

Dodge has been doing this from the late 90's all the way to the 2000's, they were called competition coupes, then the ACRX, these cars were not street legal.
