According to the post on SVT, they're near stock at 275/35/18 and 335/30/19:

And here's one on our own forums, with 335/30/18 rears, still nice and aggressive looking:

If talking about non-run-flats, I agree that some wrinkle in a sidewall adds to traction for straight line acceleration. Slow-mo most any drag launch using slicks and it's there. It requires more sidewall height to obtain it. For handling, I have no idea how much flex in a sidewall is beneficial.

I like them ok but I'm not a big fan of busy looking multispoke wheels, same reason I'm not a fan of the ZR1 wheels.
I gravitate more towards a track focused but less busy design. The Z06x wheel design is right up my alley.
My favorite wheel design from GM is actually on the high performance Camaro variants, the ZL1 and Z/28. I love those wheel designs.
ZL1
Z/28

Has nothing to do with the topic. Solid contribution.
And while I'm not a fan of the look, the Z06x's wing spoiler is there for anything but looks. The thing is designed as a functional race car, this is not some huge wing some kid threw on the back of his Civic because he thinks it looks cool. You don't have to like it, but as an educated enthusiast you should respect it.

screamer: do you really think that i thought thought that the spoiler on a race car was there for aesthetic purposes? it was a joke (or, in this case, apparently a feeble attempt at one). enough with the hostility already--what a drag. [drag, get it, purpose of a spoiler, id est, to reduce same]. what do you think, im some kind of dofuss?
