NEW Z06 or C6 CALLAWAY 427
I know where there is a brand new 0 mile 2013 callaway 427 Vert for sale, now I have been keeping my eye on the new Z06 and been hearing prices flying around, I can get the 2013 427 for 100,000 maybe less but I have been weighing up the option to buy a 2015 zo6 for the same money, cant make up my mind ???

The Callaway is certainly a real machine and it's a vert if that's your preference. Regarding the Z06, we don't know yet whether a vert will be offered. So probably best to wait till the Z06 reveal before making your decision.

I drive a 11 GS VERT and kind of like the convertible but I am not apposed to fixed roof if on the new z06, I am stuck on a decision based on $$$, the Callaway 427 is very rare , and last of the 427 engine but with that said I can buy a 2015 for the same money, also this may be my last big car purchase !

The Callaway SC652 427 Convertible is indeed, one of the finest cars I have ever had the pleasure of driving, really!
The 7.0L engine is to behold and delivers torque like nothing else
If I can assist with any questions, etc., please feel free to drop me a note

Chris

I love the Callaways. They are terrific cars and make great torque
However, I would go for the C7 Z06. You will have the newer body for a price that is likely to be about the same. I also think the C7 Z will be a tremendous performer.

I'm sure the C7 Z06 will be a great car. That said, I've driven an SC652 in a C6 Z06. Let me tell you, that car is a monster for speed.
Which ever you choose, I don't think you will go wrong.
First World problems, gotta love that.

Not to put fuel on the fire for a fellow vette junkie, but you can be driving the Calloway TODAY and not have to wait at least a year depending on where you are in line. You know when the C7 Z06 becomes available, it's gonna be just like the C6 Z06 introduction in 2006, and the recent C7 wild eyed stampede cause it's the new toy and everybody wants one NOW. I had an 08Z that was a fast car, but what it really needed to turn it into an incomparable street supercar, was a TVS 2300 superchager. Callaway has done just that to their 427 convertible.

The pics above are exactly the same car I am looking at and most of all I love the intergraded 1 piece hood to fit over the SC, Now I am sure they all come with skirts the dealer that has the one I am looking at has no skirts or chin spoiler ??
it does have the rear mud flap that the skirt attaches too, dealer is telling me it came from factory this way, but I will not take the car unless it has the carbon package
I have owned SC hot rod cars and I love the way they sound and the power is right there all the time, its winter here where I live and I am in no rush so I have time to consider both cars

for the same money, I would go with the C7 Z. Should be a superior handling car. That said, if you can get the C6 Callaway for less money, I'd go with it and never look back. Wait for the C7 Z debut, there will be many C6 deals out there very soon.

Yes the car is in Canada and vets up here do cost a bit more than the USA so I think 100,000 or a bit lower is a good price, I would like to get it for 94,000 but I don't think they will take it!
I will put an offer on the table once I have seen the New zo6 and hopefully the colour orange is available, now that will make up my mind for sure on the 2015 Z06
