Melting Slicks
The Detroit reveal should have a yellow C7R and a yellow C7 ZO6 in the intro just like they did with the C6 ZO6 intro. They'll probably have a blade silver one to show the ability to option out a sophisticated ZO6 look as well.

Is the checkerboard the actual paint scheme, or some kind of disguise?
I do wish team Corvette could cheat creatively on the air inlet restriction. It is a shame the big V8s cannot really punish the little 6 cylinder cars....

What a thrill to see the new C7R this past Saturday at Daytona. The car looks and sounds great.
Watched the sandbagging on track during practice. Everybody in the C7R class seemed to be laying back and not wanting to do faster laps than the Vette. Watched certain segments where the cars did go about 100%. The bad news it the Viper is very fast. They are sandbagging big time.
Lets hope the Corvette is holding back quite a bit too!

The restrictor would be a plate with a hole of a specified size in the intake tract. The large object over the engine is probably the plenum. The C6R also had a dual intake setup with a carbon fiber intake manifold. You probably can't see the restrictor(s) in this photo without a little disassembly.
