Local fuel place generic own brand 100% meth. $20 for 5 gallon pail, works great.

I'm thinking about using meth and going with E85 this spring. Has anyone had any problems with using meth?? I know I have heard a couple guys say that if you use straight meth it can damage the kit. Is that true?? How many miles have you guys put on your cars using meth?? Thanks for any info..

I wish I had more to offer ya, but I've only had the meth on the car for just about a month. I did do extensive research before the system was installed and the best I have to offer is, as long as it's maintained and used properly, there isn't much more downside to its use than there are with the mods that are likely associated with the need for meth in the first place.
I'm sure others will chime in.

I'm not a mechanic by any means and I don't want to have to **** around with it. I guess what I would do is rebuild it once a year to make sure there isn't any problems. I only plan on keeping mine until the ZR1 comes out if it ever does..

25k+ miles on meth. Alky kit is 100% compatible, some kits are not.
After 4 years I swapped pumps to a new one. Old one was fine. New pump was cheap, and send old pump in to get rebuilds cheaply. <1 hour of maintence and $100 every 2-4 years is nothing.

Thanks guys.. I'm hoping to add around 125rwhp by adding meth and E85. I'm at 730rwhp now with a ProCharger F1A, American Racing headers and a Akrapovic exhaust. Really trying to get to get to about 850rwhp. I don't track my car but love to run in the streets..

do you need a tune? or you can add meth without a tune just to ''boost'' the octane?
I have a brand new 2017 Z06 and want to keep the warranty.
