I was wondering the same thing. Why did "Beaz" answer for the OP?

The car would be a true world-beater--hands-down... The only thing that would run w/ it would be the Ultra-exotics (P1, LaFerrari, 918).

This is coming from a guy that used to poo-poo AWD as a crutch. After owning some high-HP AWD cars w/ plenty of track time--I'm now a believer.

I think AWD is a great idea. Imagine a 635hp Z06 with ability to put all that power down? It would be a world beater.

Default Z06 awd!!!!

I will bet my new 427 Vert, that the Corvette will never be AWD, in any form.

The guy who told you this, was he selling magic beans, and lived near a beanstalk?

I see nothing wrong with AWD, look at the 0-60 times of the GTR, 911 Turbo, and Turbo S, Veyron etc. It is just not in the cards for the Corvette.

I just talked to a guy at a gas station who talked to another guys uncles, brothers, son, who talked to another guys brother in laws friend, who knows a friend of a friend, of a friend, who works for GM who stated that the next corvette will have wings and fly.
I think the guy is on the level

What are people going to do when the REAL info is released, besides , argue, disagree , compare mathematical formulas that don't have any real basis etc..... Etc..... Etc.....

I'd take 2, if MT an option... Which it wouldn't be knowing GM.
