Which transmission will you pick?
I figured we take a poll as to see which transmission will be more popular. Auto?(god forbid) or Manual?

I'd have to think about it if it was a DCT. If not, definitely manual. Too much fun.

This is for the standard auto tranny. Not DCT.

Almost being the operative word...
It'd be very difficult to replicate the feel & control w/ the slushbox compared to the DCT. The driveability would be better w/ the auto, but not the directness.
Would never own a true performance car w/ a slushbox, but absolutely w/ DCT.
My .02

This poll contains false data!!!!! Too many "supposedly" picking the Auto!!
I'm thinking you clicked the box incorrectly! This isn't a GT3!!!
Three pedals or no pedals!!

With all the bitching about not wanting an auto, I'm surprised to see 40% picking it in the poll. Imagine if those 40% would not buy it if only a manual was offered, it is almost as if GM can sell 40% more cars (not counting for the fact that some of the 40% would buy the manual if only option as well as those that have no intention of buying it, but voted anyway).

Maybe a retirement home is voting for all those autos.

No, may be it's a group of people like me that have driven manual for 50 plus years and have just had enough of it. GM knows that there are a lot of folks that would have bought the C6 Z06 if it had had an automatic.
