Cool if true:
Later this year, the 2015 Corvette will offer an optional Performance Data Recorder — essentially a built-in high-def videocam and microphone that will enable drivers to record up to 13 hours behind the wheel and play it all back on the car's in-dash touchscreen or upload it to Facebook and other social media sites.

Just like the "base" C7, I think they went overboard with the surface details. I love the basic shape of the C7 including the Z, but to me it has a "boy racer" look to it. The snowplow splitter and rear spoiler being the worst.
Having said all that, I owned a C6 Z06 for three years and loved the car, and I'm sure I'd love to own the new one as well. The real key to the car now is price. They can make it a great car by keeping a decently equipped version at 80,000 or they can price it like a ZR1 in which case it will flame out pretty quickly.
A lot of folks including myself bought C6 Z's that listed for around $80k for $70k or low 70s when the hype had died down. Regardless of how good the car is, price is a limiting factor for two seat Chevrolets. That has been proven time and again (ditto Dodge with the Viper).

I was hoping the C7Z would be vastly different from the C7 base/Z51. Don't know why I just did...Its funny when driving my (old) C6Z wannabees coming flying up check the emblem and then back off.
