Default Who has placed their deposit??

Curious how many of you have placed a deposit for the '15 Z06? Also give us details on how much the dealer wanted as deposit wise (name dealer if allowed by rules--aka, forum supporter. Any info on where you are 'in line' as well is great.

I'm about ready to pull the trigger on deposit, just want to see where everyone is at this point.

I placed my deposit today at Criswell in Maryland. Placed $1000 refundable deposit to get on the list at 30 something for MSRP. Mike Furman said that he is expecting about half of those on the list to back out from past experience. Was surprised that they had 40+ C7's on the lot in all colors and options including Z51's. Really like the white with carbon fiber roof.

Wow, 30 already, even if half drop that's a lot. Now multiply that over the rest of forum dealers. It could be a long wait for one...we'll see.

HUGE congrats on the deposit

My thought is to order '14 C7 and get on wait list for '15 Z06 (I'm a flipper with cars)--will get me over the hump until Z06's start showing up a year from now or later.

I'm on the list through a good friend who has a dealership. No deposit. He probably hopes I back out so he can sell it for a pile of money over MSRP to someone else.

Best,
Gene

I have deposits at two local dealers in the greater Atlanta area: (1) $500 where I bought my 2011 C6 (no idea what their allocation # will be and we didn't discuss price yet) and (2) $1,000 another dealer (at MSRP) that I expect will have a higher allocation.

I'm on the list with Wes Milby at Reliable.

Sounds like we've all got a fairly long wait until we have these monsters in our possession tho, if they don't start shipping until this time next year.

Plenty of time to figure out options.

I placed a deposit back in September with Joe at Classic Chevrolet for msrp. I am either # 2 or 3 on the list at that time.

Patiently waiting for Mike's list to grow to about 50. Based on my conversation with him that should with anticipated fallout get me to late summer 2015 which will put me in line for an early 16. Plenty of time to see pics of colors and packages from the early cars this way and save some $$$. Just hope there is not a 10% price increase like there was from 06 to 07.

Shark Gray or White for me

Good to see so many deposits going in...it's going to be a long wait (and worth it).

Interesting to see how dealers really handle it.

Yes it will. I'm sure some will handle it well, others not so much. The big-volume 'Vette stores will pretty much have a handle on it I think.

We'll see.....
