Here's what I'm thinking...
Option #1 - "road friendly" $89,370
Torch red Z06 - $78,995
3LZ adrenaline red interior - $8,650
8-speed auto - $1,725
Pearl nickel wheels
Notes: how does the front quarter look without the ground effects to "blend" in the plastic extensions - would be nice to see a real torch red Z06 photo. Will install carbon trim aftermarket. Dual painted roof option if not on perpetual constraint. With 3LZ, standard GT Napa seats because the comp seats get the lower-grade leather.
Option #2 - "not-so road friendly" $100,360
Same above but add:
Ground effects carbon flash $2,995
Z07 package $7,995
Concerns: how harsh will the ride be, even after swapping out the cup tires? It's been said there'll be harsher springs, bushings, and harsher mag-ride settings. Will the splitter get destroyed? I'm only planning on tracking a few times a year, and while I love the Z07 look, the potholes around NJ/NYC are massive & the roads are absolutely terrible.
Option #3 - supplier priced loaded Stingray $65,570
Z51, 3LT, magride, 8-speed, red calipers, black wheels - $72,060 minus 9% discount, looks more like a Ferrari rather than a transformer in red.
Since I can get a stingray at the supplier price of $65,570 versus $89,370 Z06 at MSRP, the real price difference is $23,800 for:
1) Widebody
2) Supercharger 200 extra torque
3) Forged engine parts

You can DD with the sport cup 2 tires. They made it much better in the rain.
