Don't think you can/should remove the spats, your wheels will look awkwardly exposed.

Widebody, larger wheels, built motor, supercharger, stronger drivetrain(confirmed by GM engineer at Carlisle), HUD standard, Magnetic ride control standard, better resale down the road, etc. All this with the 5 yr/100k warranty that is gone once you start modding the LT1.
big wheels - meh
supercharger - can do myself
drivetrain - pretty general statement but nothing seems to be breaking with some 750-1000 hp cars out there, not all the worried about it
MRC - yeah but I don't care much about it
resale - no one can tell the future, I don't buy cars for their resale value
warranty - would be gone before I got home, just like my 14
it almost feels like the Z is for peeps who want to keep it stock. I don't like stock.

so, is the "stage 1" the stock, no option splitters? The stage 2 is the carbon ground effects package, and the stage 3 is the z07 package, correct?
Otherwise, what does a "no splitter package" looks like, just a z51 / base vette with widebody?

Right. So it is what I said. I guess I should clarify what we are all saying (since we are all saying the same thing)
Stage 1 = stock, no option / thats the standard feature.
Stage 2 = The carbon ground effects package
Stage 3 = z07 package

Baron - I'm not positive either, but I believe you are correct. However when you purchase the Z07 Package for $7,995.00, it says it requires CFV $3,995.00(Visible Carbon fiber ground effects) or CFZ $2,995.00(Painted Carbon Flash Ground effects). I originally thought the Z07 package included those, but when I went to order my car yesterday that was not the case. So if you want the Z07 package, the cheapest price is actually $10,990.00! That changed my order...

i have a c7 z51 now. However, me and GM are in some talks about some problems. I might be ordering a z06. Im thinking 2lz, with nav. Everything else that I want or care for is standard anyway...
