Not hyprocrisy at all... the chrome haters threw the first punch, so don't think us chrome likers won't swing back. The chrome hating clowns have stated many times that there don't even think that chrome should even be offered... guess GM marketing shoiuld die and leave them in charge?
I never said dark colored wheels shouldn't be offered, quite the contrary. Different strokes for different folks as the saying goes. What I did was share my views on how dark colored wheels look when rolling down the road. Those that aren't biased know that dark colored wheels are a fad, but Strongly fell that GM should always offer any color someone is interested in purchasing... free market.
Has anyone seen the chrome wheels on a white Z06 yet. Just curious how they look. The white ZR1 with chrome wheels was/is one of my favorite combos but I haven't seen any pictures of the chrome wheels on any car yet. The black wheels look killer on the white but I'd really like to see the chrome before I make the final decision. Thanks.
Chrome wheels look great on white Z06, my opinion but I am sure shared my many, chrome also looks great on any color!

You will never ever see a chrome wheel on a Ferrari, Lambo, etc etc. Chevrolet is trying hard to get rid of this bling mindset by charging 2K for the chrome option over the standard silver. Silver is the way to go if you want some form of bling. Chrome definitely not !!!!
Exactly, but GM still hasn't shed all of its old habits and putting a little profit ahead of reputation. You don't see any other high-end sports car manufacturer offer chrome wheels except GM!
Just like people used to make fun of gold chain wearing Corvette owners, they now say that about the chrome wheels. I've heard the stigma's from many (non forum members) non Corvette owners.
But I'll probably get flamed knowing the demographics of this forum.

Chrome wheels are popular with owners over 60 years old.
Gloss Black wheels with red calipers are for owners under 50 years old.
I ONLY love black wheels IF they are gloss black wheels with colored calipers like red. Otherwise, it's just a black blob if it's matte black and silver calipers.

I have both chrome and the twilight blue wheels. Car looks less sinister with either.

Black rims look Awesome when sitting still. While moving; like a black hole and pedestrian imo. They were very popular with the ricers and still are. I’ve had both, w/e floats your boat. Overall I like the bling of smoked chrome etc up to chrome; unless the car is parked.
