Default R8C Delivery Plaque Question

I got the email today from the Museum asking what I want on my plaque. I'm thinking something along the lines of "World Class Performance" or some phrase like that instead of my name.

Question for you guys. The show cars show the Z having a 650hp/650 torque plaque on the center console (actually I think they were 625 - was before the LT4 got SAE certified on its power output).

Does the R8C plaque replace that plaque? Or does the R8C plaque go somewhere else and is in addition to that one?

Hhmm. That's kind of a shame - I kind of like the hp/torque plaque.

I wonder if I could have the Museum plaque read: 650 HP/650 Torque?

You can write whatever you like up to 24 characters (including spaces)

Thanks. Since it's going to replace the regular plaque with the power rating, and I'll pass on my name being on it, I asked to have it read as follows:

650 HP/650 LBS FT TORQUE

Which I think is 24 characters exactly.

I considered, "Mechanical ****" . . . but I didn't think that would make it thru.

'Built For'

Date

Does anyone have a pic? My search is not working on my tablet.

Thanks

They dropped the "For"

Now it just says,

National Corvette Museum Delivery
. . . . [Name or phrase]
VIN #

With the NCM logo on the left side of the plate.

The NCM delivered cars get a different one, with the content I listed above. Similar, but a little different. I don't have pic of one at the moment.

Ah I see ...

Do you happen to know how easy it is to pop those out and replace them with the HP/Torque ones? I imagine it'd be harder to sell it with one's name permanently stamped on the dash for any potential subsequent owner to stare at every time they're in their vehicle.

I think they are readily removable. Much like the exterior badges.

Not riveted on or anything.

Another reason I didn't want my name on it, even tho I will probably have the car for a good long time. Well that, and I know it's my car.

Funny. Thanks for the clarification. I haven't gotten my email yet. Hope that's not an omen.
