As an orange fan and owner of an IO ZR1, I, too, am disappointed with the new DSOM. At first I kinda liked it, but the more I looked at it, the less interested I became. As a result, I settled on VY for my Z07. Truthfully, I wouldn't have considered getting a yellow car in the past. But, it pops on the Z and I just wasn't turned on by any of the other options. Plus, none of my other cars are yellow.

Thankfully, there are enough colors that most of us can find something that suits their fancy.

If you do decide to paint your Z a brighter orange, I bet it will be stunning!

That CG orange looks pretty.... CG. I like the new DSOM. Deep tint and the color change is what sells it to me. To each his own.

We all have different color tastes ... that color does not do it for me. You would need some Ketchup to go with that Mustard. Meaning I do like the Daytona Sunset Orange Metallic not the Mustard.

It's no TA Orange or even Hugger Orange....Y'Orange looks a bit strange to me.

We've all been saying this for a while. GM's color palette is really lacking in the "in your face" department. I'm really looking forward to Stryker Purple, since Yellow and Stryker Green are now defunct.

GM's yellow also sucks. It's a very dark standard yellow. I wish it was like Porsche's aggressive yellow.

The orange on that Viper really doesn't do it for me at all. Vipers look good in black and red and ok in blue. That orange looks silly to my eyes particularly with the black patch running from tail light to tail light.

The color is for a child's toy. Might be a 55 year old child but still a silly color.

For those keeping track you don't like the colors, transmission, styling, taillight and build of the Z06. Why don't you just buy something else?

MUCH prefer the Vette orange on the Z.
