While we all wait for any morsel of news here, how about some pics of what car your Z06 is replacing? If you're fortunate enough to just be adding to your collection, even better!

I'm replacing my Centennial edition grand sport convertible with a black on black Z07 coupe, 6spd, carbon bits everywhere. CAN NOT WAIT!

Consolidating down to one ride. Sold my 2010 GS to my brother recently and will replace my remaining ride, 2012 CTS-V A6 sedan , with a 2016 C7 Z06 A8 coupe ( Torch Red/Adrenaline Red 3LZ, transparent roof, standard pearl nickel wheels, carbon fiber interior dash, carbon stinger).

Current Z51 and Boss 302 will sooner or later have to make room for the Z06.... and <fire suit on> also a new Porsche.

The C7 Z06 will be my sixth corvette. Although my daily driver is really my truck, I've been having withdrawals since selling my blue c6, and been driving my 1963 c2 and 1979 c3 almost daily since the c6 has been gone. Can't wait to fill the empty spot in the garage with the new Z06!

I'm curious, you have the new Cayman and the last gen (997?) 911. How do they compare?
Unlike some on here I love the Porsche as much as the Vette, always have.
Thanks.

Good question. That's a 997.2 actually not the newer 991. It's a very very nice car. Drives very different then the vette. The vette is brash, faster, louder, and probably a lot more fun to drive. The 911 is great for dinner, cruising at Autobahn speeds, and a bunch of fun on the track. Fit and finish on this 2011 are much better than even the brand new Stingrays.

The Cayman is a fantastic car. The best balanced and handling car I've ever driven, sounds fantastic, and looks just outstanding to me. It's down on power to the 911 and certainly the Vette (50% the power!) but in this car power isn't everything.

This Vette is incredible to drive, but it's loud and it's got Chevy seats and a Chevy dash and a Chevy navigation system. When you're inside cruising, you'd much rather be in the Porsches. When you're on it giving it the beans, there is nothing like that neck snapping, burbling, flame throwing Vette!

Sold my 2014 Z51 C7. I purchased it to see if I was going to like the C7, mainly driven German, Italian & English sports cars. New Z06 will be my weekend toy.

2015 A8 Stingray. It'll be a week old tomorrow. Wanted to play with the A8 and was tired of waiting for the A8 Z lol. Love it so far but really has me looking forward to the Z

2011 Grand Sport, I'll miss her - that is, until the new Z arrives.
