Took delivery tonight, initial thoughts.
I posted some of this in my other thread, but that one is getting lengthy. Here are some initial thoughts.
We picked up the car this evening. Drove it to dinner, then home. About 30 miles total.
1. The clear wickerbill logo says Z06.
2. Exhaust is noticeably louder than my Stingray. Not over powering, sounds fantastic.
3. When cruising on the highway, it's well mannered, smooth, and quiet.
4. The ride IS NOT much firmer than my Stingray. I drove it mostly in sport mode, but did use touring for a bit on the highway. Do not be concerned about a stiff ride....
5. It's badass.

So, how did you drive home since NO REGISTRATION paperwork? Insurance how since you "legally" do NOT own the car yet? Enquiring minds want to know!

They took the plate off my Stingray, put it on the Z, and I drove it home. Don't care about the logistics. Benefits of living in a small town, dealing with a small town dealership.

Wow, the side by side from the rear is huge. Z06 makes the base car look like a toy.

That car is down right awesome! That blue looks good in any light. I bet it looks good even in the dark! I agree the sound of the LT4 is MUCH different than the LT1. But for those that like it quite it can still go into whisper mode.
Great comparison of the ZO6 and the Z51 in the same color.

I'm with you man. Screw all the red tape. You have your car at home while many can only sit and dream of taking delivery.

You mentioned the ride. Is it a Z07?

I like your style! I try to be a good American, but we have let the lawyers ruin this great land.

Those dark rims work great with the blue. Gives the car a much more aggressive look vs the silver rimed car.
I've never been a fan of the blue, but it looks great with those rims and all the black accents on the Z.
So far, this color combo looks best, IMO.
