Oh yes...I wouldn't do it without the insurance, that's for sure!!!!!! Taking it easy is to me a much safer way of going 8/10ths or so without risking your license, jail time, or hurting non-participants in your fun. But just like on the street....things can happen. You can hit someone else's oil or coolant, have a bad lapse of judgment or a failure on the vehicle.
Took delivery of my 2019 Z06 (3LZ + Z07) on 11/10 (ordered from Mike Furman in Aug, as he'd offered a great deal). Still awaiting my winter tires (living in Seattle), hence not so much driving so far and only a few photos taken. But man, I love this car so much!!!

I’ve already added clear bra, Apsis front mud flaps, 3M vinyl wrap (stinger, roof, section between roof and rear window), powerstop z26 brake pads, and Borla x-pipe. Waiting on DSC controller to be fully functional with the ‘19, and may do a BMS filter.
Wow!!!! I did the same thing 12/06 I bought a 2018 Z06. Yours is a black beauty......Mine's a Torch Red beauty. I just had it ceramic coated to keep it in nice shape. I can't wait for spring in New York.
