Are you sure you unplugged the right thing? (JK)

Thanks man! Will just have to do the adjustment trick...Should be fine!

I don't see why not, weather permitting.

I just did this. Why the heck did I wait so long? I'm not sure exactly how much extra room I gained but it is noticeable and makes a huge difference for me given I'm 6'4" tall. Have to check and see if the passenger seat has the same thing as that's even worse (not that I ride as a passenger too much).

I bought my C7 Z06 "new used" with a few hundred miles. The owner traded it on a C6 Z06 because he was a big guy and fit in the C6 better. Little strange but...

You might want to plug it back in and re-measure....I did and it makes zero difference (I used a tape measure and measured the distance from the brake pedal face to the front seat seam...you might want to do this too)!

Don't rain on my parade. It seems a lot better so I'm sticking with it.

In that case the mod might have made the seat go lower, but either way, there is a difference in leg room for sure and my arm is also further away from the wheel which was the first thing I noticed after the mod. I have a way that I rest my arm against the door panel and my elbow isn't as bent now...

Agree. Haven't had a chance to measure but before my knees were literally almost touching dash under steering wheel and now I have at least an inch or two of cushion. It is much better.

I'm 6'2'', and I have noticed the cabin of my Z06 is smaller than my C6. I still love the car though. It's light years ahead of the C6.

I don’t know about the seats but that is a FINE looking ride. Love the chrome wheels.

Just an update. I did this mod to my new '15 Z06 (the pic I posted earlier was from my '14 Stingray), and it also made a noticeable difference. I have the competition seats...

A huge thanks to Carnut52 in this thread for the tip. Those extra couple of inches really made the leg room and longer arm reach perfect for me.

But this is why I will buy the Fully-Loaded Z06 Coupe since I am 6'1".

It's easier to bring Moses to the mountain than bring the mountain to Moses. Try losing 90lbs before complaining.

Also, for those who are doing this mod, remember to undo it when taking the car in or you could have a shop monkey blow your seat motor.

Get the transparent roof and you gain a couple of inches of headroom.

Default I had Issues

I'm 6'4" 235lbs and I could not fit into the Z06. I suspect that it may have been due to the sportier seats. I ended getting the Stingray because I could actually fit into it better. I recorded a video of how I gain a bit more legroom. Now that I figured this out, I'm wishing I had gotten the Z06.

Behind the drivers seat, mine is a convertible, so do I pull the carpet up in the trunk, or from the door opening????

Those seats are the GT seats and they are available in the Z06. When I bought a 2015 M7 Z06 it had the Comp Seats and I didn't care for them. Sold the car and ordered a 2016 A8 with the GT seats, all is well. I'm 6'2" and approx. 275. One addition is I CAN'T fit in the pass side. I have to drive or I can't ride in it. There is an appreciable difference in the leg room of both sides.

I had the same experience with the Z07 package in my 2015, it was just too rough. The Z07 really makes it more for the track than daily driving.

JMHO

BTW I track my car some and getting out with my helmet on takes a little for thought. It's a bit tight, but doable. We have to pass a 12 sec fire exit drill for the Optima Series. In full fire gear.

Yikes!!! The video I attached to my original post is me and my 6'3" son giving an overview on how guys of our height with a 36" plus inseam fit into the C7. Just as you mentioned, the passenger side is far worse than the driver side. My video shows how I figured out how to position my left leg when driving.

Check out my video below. It may prevent you from having to disconnect the seat limiter. I was also thinking of doing that, but I heard that you don't really gain much. My video shows how to potentially get more room for your left leg. Not much I can tell you about the right leg.
