Default Heard of this insurance?

Anybody heard of Infinity Auto Insurance? My insurance guy offered this as an alternative on the new Vette to keep costs down with same perks as I have now. I have insurance with American Modern Home Insurance Group now because USAA won't insure the car. They won't even give me umbrella insurance. The insurance on the Vette through AMIG is for specialty cars and is pretty good with no deductible and a lot of other bennies.

Just got a quote from NCM insurance that basically beats everyone I've gotten a quote from even knowing I'll track the car. That was a surprise!

Why did USAA say they will NOT insure? Been USAA member for over 40 years and had my 2010 ZR1 insured with them, and plan on putting the 2015 Z06 on policy when I get it.

Tracking the car.

FWIW: I imagine the NCM insurance is a better deal than USAA anyway because it is considered specialty insurance and covers you for limited driving of not being a DD.

Yeah, there's too much risk in not being straightforward about it, you could really find yourself in a bind.

See my post #7. NCM looks like great coverage.

Track insurance aside, what are you guys paying in prem/deductible for your C7Z? I was paying $560/6mo with $500ded for both my 2012 Raptor with SC and BMW X6M and now that I've traded in the BMW for C7Z my insurance was adjusted up by only $27, so roughly $587/6mo. And they're telling me if I switch over to their homeowners that I'll save another $200 on auto. I'm with Farm Bureau, 36/yrs old, married, clean driving record; for now.

I tried to have that discussion with USAA but they wouldn't even talk about it. I understand their position because, even though ordinary policies specify absolutely no coverage for performance driving, an enterprising lawyer will still go after them if there is a track event of some kind and they insure you.

The prices you note are in line with the NCM insurance. However, offering to reduce your homeowners coverage if you package your insurance with them is not all good. I packaged all of my insurance with USAA for a good reduction but when they found out I was tracking the Vette they refused to cover it and I had to go elsewhere for that coverage.

Something to keep in mind when I get the Z06 - may need to check elsewhere for umbrella to include house, as have had everything with USAA since 1970.
