Vengeance Racing C7 Z06 puts down 660 RWHP/660 RWTQ!!
Baseline #s on day one with 34 miles on the car were 585RWHP/611RWTQ....
Tuning netted us an addtional 32RWHP/13RWTQ for a total of 617RWHP/624RWTQ...
This morning we installed a slightly smaller upper pulley and picked up another 10RWHP/16RWTQ for a total of 627RWHP/640RWTQ
Next we added a modified AFE cold air intake for the C7 Stingray. Final results so far are 660RWHP/663RWTQ with only tuning/pulley/cold air!!!!
Within 48 hours of owning the car we have added 75RWHP/52RWTQ !!
Thank you General Motors!!!
We will be back at it tomorrow/Monday and will keep everyone updated with step by step results of each modification we perform.

Nice work. Did the car feel much faster after the mods?
Do you think there is more in the CAI with a proper one for the Z06? How modified did you have to make the C7 Stingrays?
Is that the limit on the pulley or will you experiment with a bit smaller while keeping everything else the same?
Did you have to retune the car after pulley swap?

So, long tube headers with off road X-pipe, maybe a little blower and throttle body porting and a tiny splash of meth injection, could we see SEVEN HUNDRED REAR WHEEL HORSEPOWER while still retaining bone stock engine internals/reliability?

10rwhp from the pulley? how much more boost did it make if you don't mind me asking. Its surprising how much it made with the CAI since those DI engines have the reputation of being hard gainers when it comes to cold air intakes.

The Cold air Box itself fit nicely. With the TB being in a different location we had to fabricate the intake tube from the air box to the throttlebody. We are fortunate to offer in house fabrication so this was an easy task. I do not feel the cold air is being limited by this at all and I would anticipate similar gains with production pieces.
We will be adding a lower damper (over sized) ASAP to see what we can get out of this blower.
Tuning is required.
Right now, we are testing all modifications for performance gains and most importantly reliability. Once we establish both of these criteria we will be selling parts/packages to the public.
As for the DI engine being a "hard gainer" we saw 20+RWHP gains on the LT1/C7 with both Haltech and AFE cold air inductions...
See above. Not difficult at all for us, but not something you can tackle at home. Car sounds amazing and you can hear the additional airflow going into the engine now.
Thank you sir.
