Guy Gets Handed Keys to His New Z06 & Immediately Does a Huge Burnout
I'll never do this sort of thing but some C7 drivers like to melt their tires and make a lot of smoke (for the life of me I don't understand why), but this is what this guy did:

What a waste of tires and money. I try to respect my machinery, I really don't get this type of thing. Burnouts are so 1960's. Then it just gets worse when the stereotypically bad Corvette owner gets out. Old and out of shape, dude can barely walk. I love the car, but I hate the image....

It's their own shop car. They can do with it as they please. That doesn't mean they'd do this in a customer's car. How about the fact that they even bought one and got right to work for the sake of enthusiasts.

Safety Car
First world problems.
Leveling a set of Cup 2s in a burnout is not that much different than driving it on a track. In either application, no amount of tire is used to get from point A to point B.
Assuming safety precautions were taken it's whatever.
The average human can't afford to drive on Cup 2s, let alone poses machinery to shred them in minutes.

I don't see any harm in it, when or if you go to the drag strip you do a burn out. Who buys a 650 hp car for the eco mode?
Go to Sturgis and they have burn out contests and many are old timers. His car not a customer's car!
Nice burn out!

Why would they do this to their customer's cars when they have their own to do so. I have never seen them inside customer's cars unless the customer asks for a number or what not.
Kudos to the guys that are always on top of things. At least they had the ***** to start modding the car and tuning it the very first day.

It's his car he can do what he pleases as long as he's not hurting someone I can't see no issues with that.
