Sounds like a fuel delivery issue. Fuel pump?

Wow... you weren't kidding about "middle of the road." Glad you're at least in a turn lane.

Too many things it could be (dead pump, bad relay(s), ignition, etc)... probably something very simple, that will be a quick fix at the dealer... but that doesn't help you at all right now.

Sounds as if the ECU is pulling all 650 of your horses to the glue factory, in order to meet emissions(dead engines don't pollute), meet the EPA fuel economy(dead engines don't waste gas) and preserve the warranty(dead engines don't break parts).

Sounds like GM has your back(an aftermarket tune should get you started)..

I suggest you seek help elsewhere. Good luck.

Call Onstar. The car must have stalled for you to be in the middle of the road to begin with.....hope the Escalade is yours or someone you know to stay as a block vehicle.

Good Comment! Would like to know what it turns out to be though.

Just ignore all the foolish comments from the Mustang guys on the Z06 forums.

Press the OnStar button. Maybe they can run a diagnostic on it and tell you what it is, or schedule you a tow truck. That situation sucks! Hope it works out.

That is the last thing I wanted to read after sending a huge payment to my dealer this afternoon.
Hope it's something simple. Definitely use the Onstar!
