I say suede all the way. You don't slip around in high G corners.

I went with full leather since I didn't like the way the suede ended and then went to leather. It should've gone all the way around the seat pad. Like

I was going to do with the suede, but switch to the full leather b/c of concerns of how the suede would wear/look over time. Two things, though, I ordered the dark grey interior, with the black interior I'd be less concerned that the suede would show dirt /wear as much. Also, members on the c7 forum who ordered the suede in their Stingray last year haven't head problems with the wear, so I may just be over-cautious.

I went leather. I'm afraid the suede won't hold up well with suntan lotion and dirt. I also have 9 long-haired cats and wear hair on everything I own, that stuff would act like duct tape for cat hair. Leather for me all the way.

My first experience with suede inserts was in our 2012 ZL1. I have tracked this car numerous times and found that I do not slide around in this seat no matter how hard I push the car. There is absolutely no wear showing on the seats. When it came time to order our 2015 Z51, I definetly ordered the suede inserts in our Kalahari seats. I have no regrets whatsoever.

I loved the Leather / Suede in a previous Recaro equipped car. They do hold much better and are less susceptible to temperature swings (this car has heated / cooled seats anyway). They don't wear any faster than leather does. Would not hesitate to go for it on Black or Gray!

I only didn't get Suede because I really wanted Adrenaline Red 3LZ.
