Default How do you get PDR to work?

So I have tried 3 different SD cards in the center console. I hit PDR however the start recording is still grayed out. When I press it, it says SD card needs to be entered. The media button recgonizes the SD card however and will allow me to play videos or music from it.
Any ideas? Is there another place besides the center console to insert a SD card for the PDR? 2 of the 3 cards are new with nothing on them so memory is not a factor.

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you

It must be formatted FAT32 and not exFAT or NTFS.

You didn't read the owners manual! The PDR SD memory card slot is in the glove box, not the center console.

That means they are greater than 32GB in size. FAT32 supports it, but windows won't let you format them with the built in utilities.

Read this for info on how to reformat. (you have to download a 3rd party utility)

Is fat and fat32 the same? When I put my 32gb SD card in and try to format it only Fat (default), exfat and NTFS are the options in the dropdown menu

Or, try using this! If I’m correct, you can go larger than 32gb. I’ve used this for music production and it worked great. Oh yeah, it’s free!

The center console slot is for music, etc., while the slot for the PDR is in the upper left corner of the glove box.
