One c7z has damages the front splitter in my home town already. At a pull for tots yesterday 2 people came up to me and asked why the dealer did not lower the car upon delivering to ride height-they said it was at delivery height. Is this true?

They do sit high on the stock bolts for that reason. It's up to the owner to lower the car unfortunately.
Yeah...I don't want to slam it. I live in NY so I have to be extra careful. What I've seen so far with the car lowered on the stock bolts looks mighty fine to me...IMO.
Yes it'll be a mild to moderate drop on stock bolts... this morning I lowered mine and after measuring again it dropped 0.5" in the front and 0.25" in the rear. It'll settle a bit more once miles accummulate and I think for now I'll leave it.
I don't want to drop too low so that dips and driveways won't scrape or damage the Z underneath. The height from the splitter to the pavement went from 6.5" to just under 6" (5-7/8").
I thought seriously about lowering my Z (stage 1 Aero), but I plan to leave it alone now, at least until spring. I have only scraped three times so far (700+ miles), and I like having the room to relax at every lot and intersection with a dip.
