Can you clarify some of the Z06 numbers? They don't seem to add up. In the 2015 Z06 survey, the total number of coupe's and convertibles built was 8653. The last vin registered so far in the survey is # 9581. How is that possible? Were some numbers skipped in the vin sequence on the production line?

Thanks a bunch, did the dark blue top also (although if top can't come down, car doesn't usually get out). Had a '14 Red/Black coupe before, just had to get back in a Vert.

I purchased the 2016 yellow C7R with VIN number ending with 700570. In 2016 GM produced 650 C7R's (80 convertibles and 570 coupes). My question is... is it safe to say that VIN 570 was the last production coupe? Or is it just a coincidence that my C7R coupe ends in 570?

No, it is not a safe assumption. Assuming that the C7R had its own VIN designation, the numbers go from 1 to 650. While one digit of the VIN may designate coupe or convertible, both share the numbering sequential count; so you have 570 out of 650.
