Default C7Z vs Viper dyno

If anyone around Houston is bored, I'll be taking my '14 Viper to KPRacing.com at 11:30 or so, to get baseline dynos done. If I have a factory freak, you are invited to come discover this with me.

A good friend dyno'd his C7Z there last week, so I will update the thread with some dyno comparisons.

C7Z vs Viper - max numbers
C7Z vs Viper - both hot
'13 Viper vs '14 Viper (I dynoed my '13 there, a year ago, stock)

And, if anyone with a stock C7Z wants to have some fun at lunch, we can do that too

EDIT 7:30PM I posted the results and write-up on my blog page. I will try out this blog stuff, because testing seems to get lost on forum threads.

Nspec might be able to bring his C7Z. We'll try to do some IAT/HP logs, maybe do 4 consecutive runs on both cars and compare data.

Interested to see how your 14 compared to your 13 graph, and what the C7Z makes on that dyno.

Are any demo runs planned after the dyno?

I'm looking forward to the results whatever they may be.

Will this be the first time we'll have seen a methodical, level playing field approach?

With those two excellent cars, there will be no losers!

Have fun

No you guys saw a 100% fair comparison in Nineballs first video, but because the outcome was different then people expected suddenly it wasn't fair or someone cheated.

What kind of dyno is that one?
Some do read pretty low like the Mustang ones and I did my 2002 trans am on Dyno Dynamix? and it is around 12% lower than Dynojet numbers .

The main advantage of some of the dynos used to be they were more load type and the Dynojet were not but pretty sure the newer Dynojets can do load now also . Load types are guess better for tuning as better simulates real world conditions.

Keep doing what ya doing man as its all very interesting! I have an A8 on order which should be delivered sometime in Feb, and I know how to use a Go-Pro and street race lol... So we''ll get some solid runs then hopfully with some of the guys on Long Island
