Do you think this color should be available for the Z and would you get it? I say yes and yes! This would look incredible on the C7Z and I think it is a crime that GM hasn't given us this option

How about we let GM know what we think and "push" this color into their lineup. Everybody, sound off if you agree!

Had that sorta color on my 2010 Camaro. Loved it. Just not a huge fan of the new orange now. But indeed that orange you got there was GM's best indeed.

Thanks lawdogg149! I agree, TR is my first choice for the current lineup, but if GM would release this color then I'd be all over it for sure!

Can't imagine why GM would need two shades of orange,,, and I like DSOM much better.

They did bring back 2005-2006 DSOM for 2015 by popular demand, so anything's possible. But not likely IO so soon after being dropped. DSOM is likely to last 2 to 3 years, then maybe after a short break a new orange might appear.

Not to crap on anyone's parade, but I really hope DSOM will only be available for about three years, and then GM freshens up the lineup with this beauty. It is a win win situation!

I think I like Atomic Orange the best but have not seen the new DSOM in person yet .
Also loved the Copperhead Viper orange cars.

My ZR1 is IO and it looks awesome in the sunlight. I always get lots of compliments. I was optimistic about DSOM, but IMHO it doesn't pop, so I went with VY for my Z.

Trouble is that color is such a subjective thing that with an orange it will be hard to develop a consensus. As much as I personally like IO, I think there are a lot more fans of the old DSOM or AO.

I see orange Lambos and vipers all the time, and this car is suppose to be a "supercar killer", so I'd like to do some killing with an exotic color

Yes....IO is much better than the new orange they have on the Z now imo.
AO is very nice as well.

I liked DSOM and ordered one. So far as I am concerned, all the available colors look great on this car. Haven't seen a bad looking one yet.

I've been waiting for Chevy to come back with the 1969 Hugger Orange. I've wanted a new Camaro in that color, and would certainly buy a Corvette in that color. In fact, if they offered a Hugger Orange on the C7Z, I'd go place my order immediately. I still have a 1969 Hugger Orange Camaro SS, and have owned many orange cars.

I prefer the IOM over the DSOM, but would rather have Hugger.

Atomic orange would be the better choice.

Not sure that there is a lot wrong with DSOM II, but the more aggressive the orange the better, so not a problem for me.
