Wax, I would go with Wolfgang Fusion or Dodo Juice Supernatural.

On the coating front, I am a big fan of 22PLE VX1 Pro.

I'm a big fan of BlackFire Wet Diamond. It's a polymer sealant. It's the best I've found. They also have a spray wax for touchups between Wet Diamond applications and a waterless wash. All are excellent.

Instead of wax, why not Opti-coat?

I do not know if you've heard of it before, but if not do some research. http://opti-coat.com/

Once you go opti you'll never go wax again, a lot of vette owners love it.

This none of the rest count lol The fusion is good to…. but if you want it to pop you need a polish and then seal it up good….. wet diamond with reload spay is nuts….. or go with nattys pore boys red and reload. Black fire is my favorite… don't use a one time coat end all be all product. A really shinny car requires constant work but its fun go to autogeek.com and look around you will be hooked….being a new car give it a little time before you go nuts. get a rupes polisher with a white pad and a little menzurna 106fa or 4000 before you seal her up you will be in love

You can also wax on top of opti-coat for an even deeper shine. I like Pinnacle Souveran wax myself!

It is not fancy, but I like this:

http://www.meguiars.com/en/automotiv...ech-waxreg-20/

Meguiars Nxt Gen Wax 2.0

Easy on and off, and good, deep shine.

Zaino and don't look back, most (including Zaino) are confusing to figure out 100% to say the least, tried almost all of them including the various Zaino products, finally settled on Zaino All In One (Zaino AIO). Yes, you can get a better shine/depth/look etc.. going about the various products and applications out there, I used to spend hours experimenting with this and that, and at the end of the day and relatively speaking the differences were negligible at least to the naked eye.

I would use a "cleaner" wax, like Mothers. If you have any orange peel in the finish after about your sixth coat of Mothers "cleaner" wax you may see a noticeable improvement in the finish.

I know a guy who had his Buick Grand National repainted jet black and it looked "just" OK to me but after about his sixth coat of Mothers cleaner wax that Black popped like a diamond.

Mothers is what I use "most" of the time when I do wax the car which is not all that often. Sometimes I lift my hood just to comb my hair.

I use these micro fiber towels that I buy from a local warehouse and I always wear my superhero outfit to polish my supercar. OPPS, forgot the mask!

Chadwick's Triple Play.....great stuff! Read and investigate there reviews and website. Zaino is great but really a lot of work involved. Chadwick's has great customer service and a great product! If anyone disagrees but please speak you mind.

Pinnacle has the best wax I've found. It's pricy, but worth it. I used it on my Stingray before I got my Z and it looked like I rolled it off the show room floor when I traded it back in. It was not a daily driver though. I mainly use the pinnacle spray wax and hardly ever wash my vettes, because they stay so clean. Soap is hard on your paint and clear coat. If you must wash it use the two bucket method for rinsing and going back for soap so that you always have a clean wash mit, rag or sponge or whatever you use. Use soaps made for your car. I never drive mine on rainy days. If you just use the spray wax and microfiber towel to wipe the car off after you drive it will look as good as the day you bought for a long time. The spray wax pulls bugs off really easy, water spots, and everything else. Drys quick and leaves no milky film or streaks. They also make carnauba wax but I hardly used it because the spray wax is so dang good! Hope this helps.

I've used Jax Wax in the past, but when I ran out I started using Meguiar's Gold Class Carnauba Plus, and Mother's Showtime for touch ups. I'm very happy with both.

I will have Xpel wrap applied to the front fenders, hood, mirrors & headlights as soon as I can possibly do it. No wax or sealants protect as well as Xpel.

Default Too early to polish?

My car was built about 2 weeks ago. How long do I have to wait before taking my new Rupes to it? I know in the past they recommended waiting 60 days for the top coat to cure fully.
