$118,000 Msrp?
Seeing Msrp's this high on Z06 C7's. Seems the dealers are ordering
mostly loaded cars.
Most C7's Z06's are over 90k! Going to hurt over all sales!
Trying to buy a base C7Z06 forgetting all the extra's.. Around low 80's
car can have a few item's! Spending 80k instead of 118,000
will never make any difference in living funds. I'll be buried with money in the bank.
Just cannot see paying that much for a Corvette.
I feel a lot of the loaded ones will sit and have a big discount's later this year and next year.
Lot of guys will be like me and want the performance but will never see the track. Don't want "cup tires". The extra weight and extra do-dad's do nothing but hurt your performance of your car.
Then why even higher optioned when the cars are full of tire noise and never will be a
Cadillac ride.
When you can get the base car for 80k. I would never pay anything over that. The 2lZ is even hard to justify. The extra sub is only thing thats even cool. Heated seats? GM over priced and over did the options. GM would have/will have sold more cars but priced them selves out like the Dodge Viper. That just why the ZR1 in the garage like new with 4k miles for 69k is not going anywhere.

To each his own. My MSRP is $105k. While you can certainly get nearly the same performance in the base car for $80k, you really need $13k in options to get the max performance z07 so that puts you at $93k. The other $12k in options I went for make the car much much nicer to me so it made sense.
I could certainly live without suede, PDR, exposed carbon exterior, better leather, better seats, carbon dash, etc. But I don't want to spend $93k and wish I had spent $12k more to make it "perfect".
Corvette options are ridiculously reasonable anyways. Almost all the options would cost you much more to do separately. 20% or so in optioned up price is not much. Look at a 911. They start around 90k and go up to 160+ for the same model.

The "suede" that I had on my C7 had little air bubbles and was not finished. Was seeing that stuff go down hill quickly.
Don't want that crap in the next one.
The car is perfect without spending more than the base car. Better seats? Try the same seats. Only difference is the
1 lz and 2lz.. 3lz has 2 lz seats! i would spring for comps seats but I'm not ordering. 1lz is great you want to spend 25k more feel free. The option 's are ridiculously priced not needed.

Turn 12!
Mine came in just above $99,600.
2LZ, TR, Z07, Black wheels, Gray calipers, Nav/Pdr, Stinger Hood and Comp seats with microfiber inserts.
Honestly, it's a friggin bargain. 72 miles and I absolutely love this car. My 4th Vette, 2nd Z (C6z).
All pictures look like crap compared to viewing it in person!

Meh. Mine was mid-90s, optioned exactly how I want it. OP, be patient, you'll find one optioned like you want. You may be able to pick one up sooner by ordering it, as the lower priced Zs probably won't sit on lots as long as the loaded up ones.

Yep when the Base A8 will be the fastest on the road! Why pay more for less.
THE Biggest improvement that can be made is to sell the Stock Michelin PS2
RUNCRAPS and put on straight SS Michelins.
My ZR1 does everything better with a 75 percent less noise.
Sounds like a better stereo now!

Mine will be driven on the road not track so I went with the 3LZ for daily comfort, car came in at $92,000. Works for me but I am sure everyone has their reasons. I got rid of my GT500 mainly due to the dime store interior.

It's why they are called "options". Don't want them, order a base car....want them, order them....I'm pretty certain GM didn't invent "options" and I certainly don't have an issue with someone buying either base or loaded or anywhere in between. Different strokes (again, they're "OPTIONS"). BTW, if "options" bug you so much, go "build and price" a 911 on the Porsche website, it makes the Corvette options list look like nothing. You can get perilously close to DOUBLING the base price of a 911

NRB m7 2LZ 85k with red int which included a 500. Color override. I am still not sure where to uses the power, anything over 90 on the expressway may get you locked up in Texas. Bottom line buy what you can pay for, most of these cars sit in the garage way to much, it's raining to cold/hot ect. If you are happy with a base stingray if you want a 118k z06
