Good to chat with you and Mike while we were up there. I've been tracking the car for a year and a half and got the handle on some issues. Let me know if you have any Q's. I recommend the GM secondary radiator and the PS cooling scoop. I think you'll run fine with those two. Mike just got them and we both ran very well at Thunderhill last weekend.

Cheers.

I just got the secondary radiator in the mail today! Do you have a part number for the cooling scoop? I'm also considering running with water wetter, have you ever tried that?

I put all the info for the PS cooling parts here:

https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...ails-here.html

Haven't tried water wetter. I read Redline's white paper on it and I wasn't impressed, ~ 1* cooling improvement if that. I run 80% water and 20% stock coolant. Just poured some out and filled back up with distilled water. I would run water wetter on a car that runs 100% water but I wouldn't mix it with the coolant. Some people reported sludge over time from mixing with the coolant and I didn't find that worthwhile for nearly 0 documented improvement in coolant temps.

The car ran really hot and overheated, lost 8 mph on the straight, down from 140 mph to 132 mph.

In the lap where the car overheated you can see the coolant reaching 262*:

Not at the moment. The guy who was doing it got banned. We are waiting to see if he gets unbanned. If not I, or someone else, will copy the thread.

CF administration says the OP is permanently banned so we should elect a new administrator of this list.

JVP does a good job on Ask Tadge but not sure he wants the extra work. Katech of course would be fine too.

I have a great idea guys. I just need to figure out specifically how to implement it so that it is as user friendly as possible. I will work on it for the next few days just give me a little bit of time to write up a draft of how I can make it work. I am going to change it up a bit. Time to dust off my computer science degree.

Before I do any of the work I will bounce it off of you guys to get your opinions. But, I think you will like the idea.

EVERYONE SINCE THE BAN HAS BEEN UPDATED TO NEW THREAD POSTED BELOW, POST AT THAT THREAD FROM NOW ON.

I have been in contact with the OP on another forum extensively. I will take over management of the second thread. RC000E maintained all the code structure so, the new thread will link here for whatever was posted, and all updates should be posted in the new thread from this date forward.

Everything posted in THIS thread, has been updated and added to the NEW thread ONLY, so begin to post there, and carry forward from that thread. All hyperlinks are correct and if selected, will open a window into this thread so vid/details/data can be viewed

Problem solved.
