-Track - Memphis International Raceway (MIR)
-Layout (if more than 1) - 1.8miles
-Transmission Type - M7 in Track SP1
-Aero Package/Option Package/Setup - Z07 (wicker lowered)
-Tires - OEM size PSS (removed the cup 2's)
-Conditions/Temp - 92-99 Degrees
-Overheat warning/failure if any - none
-Best Time of the day/Session achieved - 1:14.93

-Notes:

Did not overheat. Was surprised that I did not get higher although I took every 3rd lap a bit easy on the straightway. My hotest temp was in the morning at 92 degrees. The temp was 268.

After the first session I removed the rubber liner by the top of the hood.

Will have to post video later, still at the hotel.

-Track: Blackhawk Farms Raceway, South Beloit, IL
-Layout (if more than 1): Full (std)
-Transmission Type: Manual, 7 Speed (Z51)
-Driving Mode/Settings: Track, Sport 1
-Aero Package/Option Package/Setup: N/A (Z51_
-Tires: Stock Michelin Pilot SS
-Conditions/Temp: Mid 70's, sunny
-Overheat warning/failure if any: None.
-Best Time of the day/Session achieved: 1:19.85
-Modifications, if any: DBA front rotors, Carbotech XP10/8, DOT4 brake fluid, track set up per GM spec
-Notes (issues experienced, failures, passenger, anything pertinent that you feel affected your time, etc): Very worn tires (replaced two days later) = lots of tire squealing! Still, almost 1/2 sec faster than last year on fresh tires. Visited Spring Mountain in between.

OP: all my runs are on the stock MP SS tires (Z51), so you can update my other times, please. Thanks.

Track - VIR Full
Trans - Auto
Mode - Track, Active 1
Z06/Z07 - stage 3 aero [first time on track with car]
Tires - Pilot Cup 2
Alignment - Street [dealer could not do track!]
Ambient temp - high 80's-low 90's, very humid
Issues - Ran full auto [no paddle shift] day 1 and never could run more than 20 minutes due to oil overheating warning; Day 2 paddle shifted [poorly as can be seen coming out of 1 and oak tree in 5th gear] but temps stayed below 290
Ran 2:06.62

Default PittRace South Track

Track - PittRace South Track
Trans - M7
Mode - Sport - all nannies active
Car - 15 ZO6 Coupe Level 1 Aero
Tires - Mich Pilot Sport Cup 2
Alignment - Track
Conditions - New track (5th day of use), Mid 80's, high humidity, no curbing, lots of dirt and runoff from recent rains
Overheat / Issues - Pretty sure I ran some old gas - had some issues on track that cleared up once I put in some 100 octane gas
Best Time - 1:02.2
Modifications - Haltech CAI, Carbotech pads front & rear, Mobil 1 5 /30 Oil, Torque Brake Fluid

My excuses: I was gun shy from a recent off, so I left settings on Sport and went only about 80%. Ran low on gas and put about 3 gallons of 93 octane fuel that was around 4 weeks old. Track was still damp (at least in my mind) from very light rain during previous session

Session #2 Laps

Tires Session #2

Vehicle Health Session #2

Maybe if we had more Porsche types, then we'd actually see these cars on tracks. Love the Corvette...can't say I love the demographics...

I'm always surprised when I instruct for PCA how many brand new 991's get track by their owners at the NASA days I've only seen a couple c7.

If Corvette keeps focused on the driving experience and not too heavily derailed with CTS-V's and open air experiences, the evolution of Corvette as a true global performance benchmark is possible. Can't say I'm 100% thrilled with C7Z overall but...it got them the numbers they need for pamphlets I suppose.

I was there the same weekend. I'd say a 2:37.8 is pretty good for a stock C7. I was there with my stock C6 GS and best time was 2:42, with 30 less HP

There was a Shark Gray C7 Z06 in the fast group running slower times than us, but I chalked it up to maybe he didnt want to go ***** out 10/10ths with his new $90,000 sports car.

That's a great time in the GS - those are actually pretty damn fast, and you must have been driving very well. You're probably right about the Z06 - I've already seen one go off track into a tire wall at Blackhawk, so I would tell any owner to drive it withing your comfort level (and do Spring Mountain!). I just posted another video where I caught and passed a Z06 at Gingerman - boy, that was a lot of fun

Do you have any video of your time at RA? I was in the 2nd highest run group there; would love to see some of your driving, too.
