power shifted , an old muscle memory move I cant shift any other way when going down quarter mile if I wanted to it seems .

still some wheel spin , more heat in tires , lower tire pressure , better track prep will hopefully eliminate that

yes exactly its pessamistic compared to actually ET. but the 0-60 mph is the most useful feature for 1/4 mile guys . As with the c6z and zr1 its all about the launch for these cars . these runs at track were all in the 3.7 0-60 mpg range but that can get down to 3.0 with a close to perfect launch that launch if duplicated at track will put the car in the 10s easily .

took some practice , as if not done in the right sequence it changes modes on you . I finally started making progress and best runs( last two ) by first holding button down several seconds and turning off stability and traction control completely then changing mode to track and then race . one run I put into track and race mode and them pressed button again to get rid of the other nannies and car went back to track " wet " mode without me knowing . when I launched the wheel spin practically shut the car off for a full second or two . I was sitting there with throttle floored not moving then all of a sudden it turned on like a light switch and I took off . 60' time on that run was 5.10 lol

I am still disappointed that it can no longer hang with the p turbo cars as it always could and then some and even though its faster then a c6z in 1/4 mile which is all I care about its not much faster not when looking at additional hp and tq .
still wish it was faster but love the car
sorry about individual responses wanted to answer everyone who had a question . I know there is a way to do that in one post but not sure how ?

Nice going! I agree with Marc that the burnout was too short.
That's dangerous for those folks to be sooo close to the line with no barrier and cars doing burnouts!
You can obviously drive. I don't think people know how good an 11.19 stock in a C6Z in Florida actually is, but I do!
Hard to pick up wheel spin on the launch in the video for me...it might just be my crappy laptop. Seemed like a tiny bit of spin initially, then a big bog...maybe after that it spun?
I'd say lower the rear psi & raise the front psi, burn out slightly longer, but not a big smokey one....and work on your throttle squeeze and clutch release timing..Also, you drifted out of the groove left down track. Try to keep it in the groove so you minimize spin on the shifts.

PDR Drag Race: C7 Corvette Z06 vs. C7 Stingray
Is it me, or is this new PDR technology in the C7 putting a completely different spin on what it’s like to experience a Corvette?
I haven't seen this much excitement around a new car tech feature in a long time. And the excitement is giving us an inside look on exactly how much fun people are having with their cars, especially when it comes to the Z06.

the pdr system still amazes me . this is a run where I raced a lightly modified white c7 . he pulls a .184 0-60 to my horrible 2.04 but we run by him on the high side to finish 11.39 z06 to 11.60 c7 .
For whats its worth I am certain z06 will run 10 stock with stock tire . no question . I am certain I will run tens next time out just not sure when that will be .
I ran again and got a 1.969 60' still lots of spinning but turned 11.34 in that run
enjoy
Those are extremely respectable ET.s the 11.6 in the base c7 was very good -- what mph was this?

yeah I kept waiting for those guys to move but eventually gave up . I had intended to do a longer tire warm up but with them there I kept it short . guess they forgot they were on a race track . looking at run again I think it was more about bog then slip . that's the biggest difference between this car and c6 z06 is you need to just give it to the engine fully as soon as possible and let all that torque pull you out . coming off at a little higher rpm doesn't seem to work with the street tires . I have one street run where I did a whole quarter mile 0-60 mph was 3.5 on that run and pdr 1/4 was 11.5 on this run in thread pdr 0-60 was 3.7 and 1/4 11.70 which is actually an 11.39 ET. so guessing my street 11.5 = 11.2 at track
when launching at 2500 with a quick slip and quick squeeze of throttle I have gotten several 0-60 mph in 3.0 ( on street ) . if we can duplicate that on track should be a 10 sec run easy . problem is track is so far away for me not sure when I will get back although I am anxious to get a ten sec run in the books .
hopefully some of the other guys running can use this info to improve their times ?

I think you ran 1355ft versus 1320 with that arc you drove...lol.
I think I'll go back to watching road course PDR's now...much more exciting

has to do with the way the tracks time the last section of the run and then calculate a mile per hour based on that . the pdr for mph is probably more accurate but this is the way all drag strips calculate mph from what I have read on this forum
