Could someone please help me make sure I set this correctly as I am dropping off at dealer in the am.
When the box in settings that says "Automatically record when in Valet Mode" is ck'd, does it start recording continuously, even when car is off? Versus unck'd box, does it record only when car is turned on?
I want it to record only when car is turned on. How do I check the box?
Also, when I enter the code, it says "Valet Mode Locked." That's what I should do as the last thing as I drop it off, right?

Thanks!
It automatically starts recording when the car is started and quits when it is shut off. Locking is the last thing. It will ask for your code twice and then it will activate valet mode after a couple of seconds. I used it last month when my Z was in the shop for a few days. Pretty boring videos but that's a good thing.
Is there no mode that makes the car slow so that a valet won't waste his time trying to take the car for a joyride? It seems to make more sense to hobble the car than to record abuse just so you can get upset and yell at the valet's employer.
