Good find. That will stir up the pricing debate. Hope those charging over msrp will get a reality dose now.

yep -- there is a dealer offering 2015 vipers at $4500 off sticker.
Their business strategy is build it the way you want it. If you want a base viper no options at 89k sticker -$84500 out the door no hassle involved.

I like the looks of the viper. but like the way the C7Z sounds.

On either car thats the way i would go base model -- Give me a steak, I will pass on the bread & fruit salad.

I absolutely believe there are or will be modest discounts. However, I don't believe that car is being sold for ~$12k off MSRP. It might be a listing error, or a Cars.com glitch but $12k off a $94k car?

Something tells me that this car won't be the "typical" Z06 with only 3 to 4 miles on the Odometer!

No different than the C7, all of the guys that paid list early on watched as the huge discounts came not too much after, the Z will be no different if history proves true. Typical GM, build so much product it loses its shine pretty quickly.

GM is building a rather large number of Z06 cars. The pop top/drop top and auto expanded the market for the Z, But to the degree that GM is building them?

Once pent up demand is satisfied, discounts will become (more) available. The question is when. My guess? Soon. I'm hoping the next several months owning a C7Z gives me immense pleasure, because I think it will become very evident the privilege came at a premium.

Advertised price-is just that...it's not what it will ultimately sell for.......

It's not a cars.com error. It is listed that way on that dealer's web site. They show supplier and employee pricing. I will surely show this to the local dealer who is now asking MSRP. It never hurts to make them more market-aware even though they may not care yet.

Your right we saw the same thing early on year 1 with the C7.
Discounts until you call and find not happening.

Wally Edgar website says its GM employee price. The Z06 is not eligible for GM employee pricing. So idk what's going on with this ad.

Elco in ballwin has 2. one of them a black 3z with z07 and chromes with 101k sticker has been sitting around for 60 days+.

Cars.com has quite a few. as we draw near june dealers will start big discounting on these "pink elephants" to move them on.

The early adopters - got to have it now market has dried up.

Still takes a couple months to build one. Your talking about a dealer stock. I agree the 100k plus cars will need discounts soon. I spent
82k over a hundred k is a lot for these cars. Deprecation hits harder on the higher sticker cars. Not many built for 82 compared.

You mean those "huge discounts" that brought the price back down to what we first buyers paid before the price increases?

Why do people keep posting things like cars.com links, etc when they're always mistakes?
