Default Took The Z06 Back To MIR...

The weather was nice today so I headed back to Maryland International Raceway to attempt to better my times. Ran into a fellow Corvette forum member, Kyle Lemish, who also owns a few Fast List Records with his Zr1. He was there with his new 2015 Z06 equipped with the Z07 package and 7speed manual. He made quite a few impressive passes and I am pretty sure will be all over the manual records when we get a C7 Z06 fast list started. Mr. Lemish was kind enough to let us try out his drag radials.... we are car 1698 on these timeslips.

we were also able to improve on last weeks run on Michelin tires, running a 10.763 @130

We only had one run on drag tires, and I am pretty confident we can better the 60' time.

Your car bone stock as of today? 10.55 stock on a drag radial?

That is incredible!!!

Great job.

Now, imagine how much faster you'd be without the chrome wheels

CTS-V's are nice rides. One of they guys I race with in Richmond came to MIR today with his Black Diamond Coupe and almost (10.03@138) got in the 9's on 19" drag tires, no nos, pump gas.

Very nice. That's right about what most of us racers expected in stellar air on a well prepped track with and without the drag radial.

Only most people predicted faster. Even some racers. I kept hearing low 10's even 9's I said 10.77 about it. His 60 was a little off but the car was faster. making it up!
