Even crazier to think, what if it actually still does?!
That means there's EVEN MORE left in this thing!
All kidding aside though, more miles WILL free up a little more power so these cars ARE NOT done yet.
Plus the air, this WAS NOT done in stellar air conditions. Good, but far from 'best'.
If this car ran in the air I had during my last trip to Atco (late November of last year) it likely would have gone 10.2s and 133mph.

Your 60 foot time must have been 1.5x, please do tell!

This record is going to be sticking around for awhile now, I can't believe the car has only 37 miles on it, LOVE IT!!
Technically speaking.. the car has 37.25 miles on it now.

Sounds familiar A8s have been out for a few months and we're already seeing insane things like 10.3s on just tires. What will happen few years down the road?

Very Nice! I did not expect it to be able to 60' that well on a stock stall.

I went on record just a few days ago with some crazy prediction of a bone stock 10.39 and people gave me some sh*t for it. While this isn't bone stock, it also was not done in the type of (great) air that I'd assumed it would take to happen either.

Going on record now. A bone stock (tires and all) C7 Z06 automatic WILL eventually run a 10.49999 (or better?) 1/4 mile ET and trap over 132mph (might not be on the very same pass) as well.
You can quote me on this.

Can you please send me the numbers for the lottery tonight?

More south, here close to Victoria, or what they call the 'crossroads' LOL.

That's a big climate change from TX to IL

I didn't either.

Very, very impressive time... regardless of where it is run or what the -DA is. Just awesome.
