Default Halltech CKNZ install and progress

After install I drove the car for 60+ miles for the ECM to "learn" the airflow characteristics, then scanned it with HP tuners. My car is stock except for the CAI, no tune. I installed the high flow filter and had no issues. From the scan the LTFT's were perfect, 0 to -2, at all times, and got no KR at any time. I dyno'd the car with 600 miles stock, and will redyno soon.

It feels a bit faster, but I don't trust butt-o-meters, I will post stock to mod with CKNZ comparison when I hit the same dyno.

Can't wait to see your dyno results. Any changes in the supercharger sound?

Dyno'd the car again, ONLY change is the Halltech CKNZ CAI.

Same dyno, slightly worse conditions, on 91 octane gas (the best pump we have), it picked up 45 SAE rwhp, and 25 SAE ft lbs rw torque. From the scans it did have 1 degree of KR kick in at 5500 rpm, but was taking it out by 6000.

Another happy Halltech customer!

Nice results. so to be clear this is their high flow filter for which they recommend a tune, but you didnt tune it?

Default Not too bad for 91 Octane-+.6 PSI to boot.

Here is the dyno comparison showing the air fuel ratio comparison. The Halltech Stinger CKNZ with the ST689 filter, has air fuel ratios that look traced from the stock run. The only difference is about .5 according to the data Wayne saw.

You can see the Cat Over Temp Protection kicking in sooner due to that slightly leaner ratio. The a/f drops to around 10.3:1.

Question: Why are there 3 runs between the first and second pulls shown here?

Is this the same dyno that 6speeder posted? Or is it just a coincidence that they were the same day?

Sweet, hopefully the dooms day naysayers will not spew their crap in this thread to try to discredit great results.
We know this is a truly great mod!

Did you install the filter in the CAI yourself? I want the high flow soon as I'm going headers and tune.

Looks like the dyno machines are 2000 miles from each other.
Looks like they just are showing runs 2 and 5.
Are you doubting the very solid results?
When you test something your going to make more than 2 runs.

I didn't see a location on that first dyno, do you?

Actually, the second graph shows runs 001 and 005. And the strange thing is they are less than 3 minutes apart, so I am curious how someone changes the CAI and makes 3 pulls in 3 minutes.

An I am not sure what the column "Gear Ratio" signifies, but I do note that the values are not equal.

I am not doomsdaying or naysaying. I am searching for the truth. Incidentally I have the means to find it, and I will, whatever it may be.

And here we have three different statements from 6speeder, in 3 different posts, concerning his AFR, and I can't find anywhere that he shows the actual AFR in his dyno graphs.

wait, here is a fourth version

Is this "fan mail from some flounder" or are you stalking me? LOL

Whatever. Here are my three of my runs, on the same dyno, on three different days, in three different configurations. First, blue, box stock. Second, red, with the HALLTECH CKNZ. Third, green, with the CKNZ AND the IW 9% overdrive pulley.

Is this tripleblack, or whatever you were called before you were banned for slamming HALLTECH? I believe this is what you are trying to do here (obliquely). Didn't you work for AFE?

Again, whatever. Here's the data, why don't you use it to prove I killed Jimmy Hoffa.

I will soon be posting my post Halltech dyno (with a/f) and can compare it to my stock dyno as well.
