Default 12 volt/15 amp underhood source
Looking for an easy hookup under the hood; 12 volt "on" with the ignition or constant voltage.

I would probably pull it off the alternator power stud. Just add an inline fuse. It is easy to get to and all the power you want.

Thanks, I will take a look. Anyone else, I would like something closer to the firewall.

On the back of the fuse box facing the firewall is the threaded "power lug" located under a plastic flip-up cover.

Yep, that'll work. I'm going to hook up my Curb Alert to that terminal so on with car running.
