There were two Z06/Z07s there this weekend, both running Stage 3 rear spoilers and Stage 2 front splitters. Neither were getting much more than about 152mph thru the 1/2mi dig or roll. In contrast, this Z06 (vid below), Stage 1, trapped at 158mph and change. Not knowing the variables (driver, weather specifics, etc), I guess it shows how much the Stage 3/2 setup hinders the acceleration at those higher speeds.

Either way, this event and I can't wait to signup for their next event in Oregon!

I thought that NFZ event was a full 1/2 mile rolling start event? SS is a standing 1/2 mile event

Awesome! What # and Vette were you? I've got tons of pics and may have some rolling shots of you racing.

And it looks like they didn't change the finishing line for Sunday, so I guess that'd make it a wee bit less than 1/2mi for the roll starts.

Another stock vs. mod thread. Take it for what it is, just a cool video of two cool cars. No need to get into another pissing contest trying to dissect every moment of a 54 second video.

Oh, and why isn't this in other cars like all the other Z06 vs. threads?

Here's and R1 Motorsports Z06/Z07 (Stage 3 rear, Stage 2 front) w/Kooks headers, no tune, going up against a modded M6 (I know....apples and oranges )

Still surprised to see the Z06 only trap 150mph and change :/
