I've heard the M7 has run high tens, is the Viper which we all know is manual only in the same area?

My guess is the guys running stock aren't getting these super times because they are really running stock.

What does have me giddy (like a schoolgirl) is that these A8s are FASSSST
My bone stock A8 did race a C6 Z06 this weekend though.... You want details
I took the hit (I mean, I am in a super slow C7Z)
I only put about 3/4 of a car on him
The race (previously agreed upon) was from 30-130 and by 130 we were dead even and I shut it down
C6Z owner says he got me by a car.... Whatever LOL
Now for the rest of the story.....
I had just made two 30-130 and a 30-105 pull (maybe I was heat soaked?
)I had a 220 pound passenger (to add to the C7Z's 'monstrosity'
)The C6Z was tuned
The C6Z had headers
The C6Z had a cam
The C6Z even had a blower
Edit: I had a C6Z with milled heads, intake and headers. Made 498 and trapped 128, knowing how fast they are I did not want to race this one but he caught me heading in while giving a friend a ride. I am glad I did though

NO bone stock C6 ZR1 has ever trapped 135mph, though one has done it on drag radials (and yes, drag radials can/do help trap speeds) of course. The highest bone stock ZR1 trap speed is also 132mph (almost 133).
I do like ZR1s and I'm not even stating that a 'bone stock with drag radials' C7 Z06 will ever see 135mph (or even 134mph). But please let's make sure that we're being entirely accurate when posting our criticisms, okay?

Time will tell. If you look at the C7 fast list one of the very first times posted was a 11.49 in November of 2013, here we are 18 months later and only two cars have beat that time and only by 12/100th's.
Seems fishy to me!

At least none of the C7Z owners ran tests that set the Viper up to fail.
I said back when the Viper beat the C7Z M7 (back when the viper fanboys ran this C7Z forum) that these tests were set up for the C7Z to fail. No break in time, no automatics. Now that the autos are starting to get some good quarter mile times, we will hear more crickets chirping from the Viper fan boys.
.........oh I forgot, the C7Z overheats, so it's a POS.
